Admissions Essentials forms the base with your initial application form and admissions processes, including stages for applications.
Standard Components
A family portal where guardians create an account, log in, save their progress, and return to their application at any time. Guardians can manage applications for multiple students from the same portal login.
Checklists that show families what supporting materials (references, report cards, immunization records, etc.) are required at each stage of the application process. Your team can easily adjust templates for checklists based on grade level and school year.
A recommendation request process. From the portal, families enter the name and email of each recommender, such as a current teacher or an extracurricular leader. Each recommender receives an email with a link to a recommendation form they can complete without logging in.
Completed recommendations attach to the student's application and mark the matching checklist item as received. Families can see whether each recommendation has been requested or received, but not its contents.
Automation to show when all supporting materials have been submitted for the application, so your admissions team knows when an application is ready for full review. The application status is visible to families in the portal as their file moves through the process.
One automated reminder email to families whose applications are started but incomplete.
An internal review process where each application can be reviewed by one or more staff with a CRM login. The review includes up to five rating fields for a standard review rubric, a notes section for notes from the reviewer, and a final recommendation.
An expanded admissions dashboard that adds application completion rates, outstanding checklist items by grade, and seats remaining by grade compared to your enrollment targets.
